K50 Pro Touch Series from Banner Engineering

The K50 Pro Touch Buttons from Banner Engineering combine proven touch technology and ruggedness with the added versatility of RGB LEDs.   These pro touch buttons are made with a rugged IP69K designs making them reliable in a variety of conditions, including harsh environments.  They operate in wet or dry environments and with gloved or bare hands.  As a general-purpose indicator in a 50 mm dome, the K50 Pro Touch Buttons are compatible with the Pro Editor software allowing for full flexibility of colors, touch, animations and output settings.  These capabilities increase production efficiency as each change in status or step in a process can be assigned its own unique color or animation.  This helps the users learn and interpret the signals quickly, resulting in fewer errors, thus saving time and money.  In October, Banner Engineering announced the availability of K50 Pro Touch Buttons with IO-Link communication.  These models offer full Pro capabilities managed dynamically by the master, including customization of colors, animations, and touch sensitivity.

Banner Releases DF-G3 Analog Output Long-Range Fiber Amplifier

The new DF-G3 Analog Output Long-Range Fiber Amplifiers, released by Banner Engineering, offer a world-class long range sensing capability.  When comparing the maximum sensing range, the DF-G3 diffuse sensing range is 4 times longer than the DF-G1 and 2 times longer than the DF-G2.  The higher power enables longer detection for all applications and reliably detects smaller targets and features when it is used with small core fiber assemblies.  The extra power also provides increased detection reliability for dark targets.

Banner Engineering’s Q4X Laser Distance Sensor Offers New Functionality

The newest models of the Q4X are now available with higher resolutions, and they can solve new applications!

Since the release of the Q4X versatile, rugged laser distance sensor, Banner Engineering has added new models offering new functionality and features.   The first addition was the Q4X analog laser measurement sensor that provides continuous measurement of challenging targets from dark to reflective out to 300 mm.  Banner also introduced new problem solving firmware, dual mode, that comes standard on their Q4X sensors.  Dual mode, dual intensity plus distance window, is an innovative teach mode that allows the Q4X to solve new applications including clear objects detection and error proofing applications.  Banner Engineering’s latest release includes higher resolution Q4X models that are optimized for higher performance over a shorter measuring range.  Let’s take a closer look at each of these.

The newest model of the Q3X is now available with fixed background suppression.

Banner Engineering has introduced its latest model in the Q3X family of laser contrast sensors, the Q3X LD50.  This new model can overcome the limitations of standard diffuse-mode sensors where objects in the background can affect the sensor.  It does this by distinguishing between low-contrast targets while ignoring targets of all colors and reflectivities outside of it’s 60 mm background suppression distance.
